Sarah's House of Maine
A “home away from home” for Maine cancer patients receiving treatments in the Bangor area. We provide a comfortable and caring environment based on hope and healing. There is no charge to stay at Sarah’s House.
We are so grateful for the amazing continued support we receive from the Waco Diner and all of the Downeast community members that contribute to this amazing November-December fundraiser each year! 💚 This is such a special fundraiser because not only do they help us, but they provide a wonderful free Thanksgiving dinner for their community! 🥰 This year they raised $5,339 for our Sarah’s House of Maine guests! ☺️ Sending a big big Thank You to all involved! 🙌🏻

Keep an eye on WABI TV5 for the segment they created about this donation! 😁Today, we proudly delivered about $640 cash donation plus a few hand-made quilts, winter hats and gloves to one of our favorite local non-profit organizations, Sarah’s House in Holden!

Today we received an amazing donation of over $1,358 worth of Scarrificwarrior holistic health products for our Sarah’s House of Maine guests! 💚 Company owner, Angie is a cancer survivor that was diagnosed in 2021 and fought for 18 months. 💪🏼During that time she started making her own holistic products to help ease some of her cancer and treatment symptoms, which led to her starting this business. 💕 She brought our guests organic lip balms, oils, salves and sprays to help with things like dry skin, scarring, radiation burns, nausea, anxiety, and stress. 🥰 We are so grateful to Angie for providing these wonderful self care items for our guests! 🙏🏻
